Re:  Annual Disclosures 2023

Dear Valued Client,

As a registered investment adviser firm, Reutemann Financial Solutions, Inc. (doing business as Research Financial Strategies) is required to provide certain disclosure information to each of our clients on an annual basis.  Pursuant to meeting our disclosure requirements, the purpose of this letter is to notify you of the material changes that have been made to our Form ADV Part 2A Disclosure Brochure (“Disclosure Brochure”) since the last annual update of that Disclosure Brochure and to notify you that a complete copy of our Disclosure Brochure is available to you, free of charge, upon request. 

The Disclosure Brochure provides information about our firm, including a description of our programs, fees, conflicts of interests, and other business activities.  Prior to our annual update filing submitted in March 2023, our last annual update to the Disclosure Brochure was made in March 2022.  Since that time, the material changes to the Disclosure Brochure are the following:

1)      For the Annual Amendment filing submitted in March 2023, we have updated the reported amount of our firm’s asset under management to report the value of assets under management as of December 31, 2022.    

Additional information about our firm is available on the internet at www.adviserinfo.sec.gov.  You can view our firm’s information that is available on this website by searching for our firm using our firm name Reutemann Financial Solutions name or by using our firm’s CRD number 153247.

Enclosed please find a copy of our firm’s Privacy Policy Notice, which describes our commitment to protecting the privacy of our clients’ confidential information.

CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY NOTICE

In November of 1999, Congress enacted the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).  The GLBA requires certain financial institutions, such as investment advisor firms, to protect the privacy of customer information.  In situations where a financial institution does disclose customer information to non-affiliated third parties, other than permitted or required by law, customers must be given the opportunity to opt out or prevent such disclosure.  Reutemann Financial Solutions, Inc. (RFS) does not share or disclose your information to non-affiliated third parties except as permitted or required by law.

RFS is committed to safeguarding your confidential information.  RFS holds all personal information provided by you in the strictest confidence and it is the objective of RFS to protect the privacy of all clients.  Except as permitted or required by law, RFS does not share confidential information about you with non-affiliated parties.  In the event that there were to be a change in this policy, RFS will provide you with written notice and you will be provided an opportunity to direct RFS as to whether such disclosure is permissible. 

To conduct regular business, RFS may collect personal information from sources such as:

·         Information reported by you on applications or other forms you provide to RFS

·         Information about your transactions implemented by others

·         Information developed as part of financial consultations and analyses

To provide related services for client accounts, it is necessary for RFS to provide access to your information within the firm and to non-affiliated companies with whom RFS has entered into agreements.  To provide the utmost service, RFS may disclose the information below regarding customers and former customers, as necessary, to companies to perform certain services on behalf of RFS: 

  • Information RFS receives from you on applications (name, social security number, address, assets, etc.)
  • Information about your transactions with others (account information, payment history, parties to transactions, etc.)
  • Information about your financial products and services transaction with RFS

Since RFS shares non-public information solely to service you, RFS does not disclose any non-public personal information about its customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.  However, RFS may also provide your information outside of the firm as required by law, such as to government entities, consumer reporting agencies or other third parties in response to subpoenas.​
